Anupama 12th September 2024 Written Episode: Anuj Confronts Ankush’s Betrayal

The episode opens with Anupama questioning Anuj about the strange behavior of Barkha and Ankush. Anuj, determined to find the truth, prepares to confront them. Before leaving, Anupama stops him to adjust his collar, sleeves, and apply kajal behind his ear, a gesture of protection and affection. Anuj expresses his gratitude, thanking her for always being there.

He confides in Anupama, revealing how lonely and empty he felt without her and Aadhya, despite having everything else in life. Now that they are back, he is committed to making them happy and fulfilling all their dreams. Anupama reassures him that Aadhya is just as much her responsibility, and Anuj agrees, saying they will tackle all their challenges, including the troubles at Asha Bhavan, together.

He vows to uncover what happened during his absence and bring back answers. Anupama wishes him luck and gives him a small magnet for good luck. Anuj teasingly points out that she didn’t say she would be waiting for him today, but he promises to return home for tea and listen to her stories. He tenderly kisses his fingers and touches her shoulder before leaving, making Anupama blush.

Meanwhile, Dolly drops Meenu off at college, only to see Sagar calling out to her. Dolly confronts Meenu angrily, accusing her of meeting Sagar behind her back. She harshly criticizes Sagar, calling him an “auto wala,” but Meenu stands her ground, defending him.

She explains that there’s no shame in driving an auto and highlights that Sagar is pursuing a law degree and will soon become a lawyer. Dolly dismisses this, retorting that Sagar is not a lawyer yet. Meenu counters, pointing out that even though Dolly is still training, she is still called a doctor. The argument escalates until Anupama intervenes, urging Dolly to be kinder and more considerate with her words.

However, Dolly remains adamant, accusing Sagar of manipulating Meenu and blaming Anupama for disrupting her daughter’s life, just as she allegedly affected her own parents’ relationship. She warns Anupama, hinting that she’s one step ahead in her ongoing conflict with Vanraj. Sagar tries to defend himself, swearing on Anupama that nothing improper is happening between him and Meenu. Anupama reassures him but leaves feeling uneasy about the situation.

At Anuj’s office, his employees are relieved and excited to see him return. They express how the company has suffered during his absence, blaming Ankush and Barkha for the financial mess they are in. Some employees had assumed Anuj had moved back to the US, but the loyal staff stayed, believing in Anuj’s leadership.

Anuj apologizes for his time away and promises to make things right. His employees warn him that the company is on the brink of closure, but Anuj is determined to restore it to its former glory. He asks his team if they are willing to stand by him in this difficult time, and they agree, hopeful that together they can turn things around.

Elsewhere, Sagar and Bala discuss the earlier altercation with Dolly. Bala scolds Sagar for falsely swearing on Anupama, warning that she might start doubting him. Anupama watches them from a distance, her mind troubled by Dolly’s accusations. Although she trusts Sagar, a seed of doubt begins to grow.

When Anuj reaches his office, he feels a pang of betrayal seeing Ankush’s name on the door. Anupama, sensing his distress, calls him. Anuj pours his heart out, describing how deeply hurt he feels by Ankush’s betrayal. He reflects on how he supported Ankush in tough times, treating him like a brother, only to be stabbed in the back when he needed support the most.

Anuj reveals that Ankush even lied to him about their daughter, Aadhya. Anupama listens and comforts him, reminding him that while business betrayals can sometimes be overlooked, betrayals by family cut far deeper. She encourages him to confront Ankush and Barkha and demand the truth about their deception.

Meanwhile, Toshu is feeling unwell and contacts a doctor for medicine. Kinjal brings him herbal tea, playfully suggesting that his weakness comes from his desire to control the household, only for Dolly to seize control. She finds the situation amusing and advises him to relax, but Toshu remains defiant, insisting he’s as strong as a lion and will prove himself.

Back at the office, Ankush complains to Barkha about feeling trapped at work while she enjoys her life with Sara. He expresses concern about Anupama, but Barkha dismisses his worries, telling him not to be scared. Just then, Ankush sees Anuj walk in and is caught off guard. Anuj confronts Ankush, questioning if he’s unhappy to see him back in good health. Ankush feigns happiness, hugging Anuj, but Anuj’s demeanor is cold, his eyes burning with unspoken anger.
