“Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua” Episode Recap: Prithvi and Nikita’s Engagement (15th September 2024)

The episode begins with Deepika expressing her frustration to Chirag, feeling a growing rift between them over crucial decisions. Meanwhile, Manorama is seen comforting a distraught Shobha, who is upset after discovering that Lavanya is orchestrating Prithvi’s engagement to Nikita at a different location. Jahnvi, seething with anger, vows to take revenge on Lavanya for this perceived betrayal.

As the tension escalates, Lavanya approaches Prithvi, who is clearly distressed, and urges him to get ready for the engagement ceremony. Overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted, Prithvi retreats to the washroom, seeking solace but finding none. Lavanya, steadfast in her belief that she is doing what is best for Prithvi’s future, dismisses his visible anguish as a necessary sacrifice.

Deepika confronts Chirag, expressing her disappointment that he was unable to convince his mother to support Prithvi and Jahnvi’s relationship. Chirag responds that Deepika should reconsider her position as well, suggesting that the current arrangement might be beneficial for Prithvi. Overhearing this, Prithvi feels increasingly despondent, believing even Chirag views him as unworthy of Jahnvi. During the engagement, Lavanya directs Prithvi to exchange rings with Nikita, which he does reluctantly. Deepika, distressed by Lavanya’s rigid stance, tries to persuade her to consider Prithvi’s happiness. Lavanya harshly dismisses Deepika’s concerns, comparing her to a weed that she wishes to uproot from her family garden.
