Director Raaj Shaandilyaa Clears Up Misconceptions About Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and Sex Tape

With the recent release of the trailer for Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, some online chatter has drawn comparisons to Jake Kasdan’s Sex Tape. However, director Raaj Shaandilyaa has addressed these claims, firmly stating that his film does not share similarities with the concept of ‘sex’.

In a conversation with PTI, Shaandilyaa clarified that while Sex Tape centers on a video that becomes a viral sensation, his film explores a different premise. In Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, the story revolves around a couple who accidentally misplaces a video CD they created, rather than dealing with the fallout of a public video. Shaandilyaa highlighted that the plot and characters in his film are unique and not influenced by Sex Tape, and he admitted he hasn’t even watched the latter.

Shaandilyaa also shared that the inspiration for his film stems from real-life experiences and interactions rather than any particular movie. His goal is to showcase the distinctive aspects of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and reassure audiences that the film offers an original and engaging story.
