Jubilee Talkies – September 5, 2024 Episode Recap: Shivangi Suffers a Burn Injury
In today’s episode of Jubilee Talkies, the tension reaches a peak as Shivangi suffers a serious injury. The show begins with Ayaan offering comfort to Shivangi during a joint interview, showcasing their strong bond as they smile for the camera alongside Ira and Tara. Shivangi, a fervent devotee of Krishna, invites everyone to join her in celebrating the Dahi Handi festival. The group proceeds to the event, with Tara watching them warmly.
Unbeknownst to the participants, a man has secretly sabotaged the Dahi Handi pot by adding a dangerous chemical. Ira, fueled by rage, intends to harm Shivangi. As Shivangi begins her ascent to break the Handi, Goldie voices concern about Ayaan’s ability to protect her.
Ayaan encourages Shivangi, while Ira nervously hopes that Ayaan won’t interfere with her plan. Ayaan reminds Shivangi of her significance as the lead actress and stresses the importance of safety. Shivangi reassures him with a playful comment about him catching her if she falls and continues her climb.
Ayaan gets momentarily distracted by a woman, but a bystander redirects his attention to Shivangi. Meanwhile, Bobby tries to contact Sandy to check on Shivangi but is dismissed due to Sandy’s busy schedule. Later, Sandy discovers an acid bottle on a shelf and calls Raju, who is confused about the presence of such chemicals on set.
Sandy, noticing burns on his own hand, realizes the danger and reviews the CCTV footage. The footage reveals someone adding the chemical to the Dahi Handi pot, prompting an urgent response to avert a disaster.
Sandy warns Ayaan about the hazardous chemical in the pot and urges him to stop Shivangi before it’s too late. However, the loud drums make it difficult for Ayaan to get through to her. Sandy tries to alert Tara and Goldie, but Goldie insists on staying focused on their tasks. Tara, however, insists they take action.
Despite Ayaan’s frantic efforts to prevent it, the chemical spills on Shivangi as she breaks the Handi, resulting in severe burns and causing her to fall into Ayaan’s arms. Ayaan orders everyone to step back as Ira, having cut the rope, lets the pot fall and shatter, revealing the chemical inside. The man tells Ira to leave, and she complies.
Ayaan quickly takes Shivangi to the vanity van, where he tries to calm her down. Despite Shivangi’s insistence that she can handle the pain, Ayaan insists on treating her burns and asks her to remove her shirt for the ointment. Bobby enters the room and is stunned by the sight of the intimate moment between Shivangi and Ayaan, her frustration and anger clearly evident.
