Kundali Bhagya 5th September 2024 Written Episode Updated: Karan’s Heartfelt Gesture for Shaurya and Rajveer
The episode opens with Kavya noticing that Palki seems nervous. Kritika also observes Palki’s reddened face and comments on it. Feeling uneasy, Palki tries to excuse herself, mentioning she has work in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Palki’s Dadi approaches Daljeet, requesting a private conversation. Karina kindly assures Dadi that the entire house is hers, and she’s free to go wherever she likes.
At the same time, Rakhi is making plans to consult a pandit for an auspicious date for the upcoming event, and Bani Dadi accompanies her. Mahesh, noticing people leaving, wonders aloud why they’re dispersing, but Preeta comforts him by saying everyone is simply happy.
She praises Kavya for proving how important daughters are, not just as a family’s pride but as their dignity. Karan chuckles at this, and when Preeta asks him why, he lightheartedly explains that such situations often make people emotional. Karan then leaves with a jar, and Mahesh follows him.
In a private moment, Palki’s Dadi asks Daljeet why she seemed unhappy when Rajveer and Palki’s relationship was announced. Daljeet confesses she’s not thrilled about Rajveer, as he’s just an employee at the Luthra company. Dadi, confused, points out that Rajveer holds a decent position, but Daljeet remains dissatisfied, questioning why there’s such a rush for marriage.
She also comments that Palki isn’t particularly attractive, implying that it’s unlikely another boy would be interested in her. Dadi, frustrated, advises Daljeet to stop overthinking and let Palki marry Rajveer.
Elsewhere, Shaurya is lost in thought, recalling how he saw Rajveer and Palki together at a café. He also remembers Preeta saying that Rajveer is like a brother to him. Noticing his troubled mood, Shanaya follows him quietly, trying to figure out what’s on his mind.
Back in the living room, Rakhi asks where Daljeet is. Preeta informs her that Daljeet is on her way. Soon after, Dadi and Daljeet join them, and Rakhi says she has something important to discuss. Daljeet agrees with Kavya that Shaurya and Shanaya should marry, but she’s worried about managing two weddings at once, especially with her limited means as a middle-class mother. She expresses concerns about the expenses, admitting she can’t afford two grand weddings.
Rakhi suggests that both weddings could take place together, but Daljeet worries that it might seem like she’s neglecting her elder daughter by focusing on the younger one’s marriage. Preeta tries to ease Daljeet’s worries, but Rakhi steps in, firmly stating that money shouldn’t be an issue. She reminds Daljeet that this house belongs to Preeta and her sons, emphasizing that it was Preeta who saved the family business and mansion from collapse.
Kavya, overjoyed, says that it’s wonderful to welcome two daughters-in-law into the family at the same time. However, Karina has her doubts, questioning if these marriages are truly a good match. Nidhi also disapproves of the idea, believing that Shanaya doesn’t fit the family’s social status and worrying that she won’t be the ideal daughter-in-law.
In Shaurya’s room, Shanaya confronts him about his distant behavior, asking why he’s acting differently. Shaurya, clearly annoyed, sarcastically questions if he has ever been the romantic partner she expects. Hurt, Shanaya asks what’s wrong, reminding him that they’re about to get married and should try to understand each other better. Shaurya bluntly tells her that if she’s unhappy, she should call off the wedding, leaving Shanaya shocked and hurt.
Meanwhile, Palki, lost in thought, walks towards the balcony, smiling as she recalls her recent date with Rajveer and his romantic gestures. Rajveer suddenly appears, teasing her about thinking of him. Startled, Palki playfully scolds him for scaring her. Rajveer reassures her that he will always be there to protect her from fear.
He then asks if she’s truly happy, to which Palki teasingly replies that she’s worried about losing her freedom after marriage. She jokes that after they’re married, he might start complaining about food and expect her to handle all the household chores. Laughing, Rajveer promises that they will share everything equally, from household responsibilities to romantic outings. Palki, giggling, admits she was just teasing, and the two enjoy a playful moment before she runs off, smiling.
Later, Shaurya questions Shanaya’s feelings, asking if she truly loves him or if she’s just pretending. Deeply hurt, Shanaya insists she does love him and believes they will be happy together. However, Shaurya seems determined to distance himself from the situation. Just then, Nidhi enters the room and tells Shaurya that his father, Karan, is calling him.
When Shaurya and Rajveer arrive to meet Karan, he reminds them that it’s Raksha Bandhan, a tradition where sisters tie Rakhi and brothers give gifts. Shaurya and Rajveer both explain that their gift was agreeing to the marriage proposals. Kavya proudly announces that their marriages were a gift to the family. However, Karan surprises everyone by saying that this year, as their father, he will be the one giving gifts.
He presents Shaurya with a stylish wristwatch, explaining that it symbolizes the importance of valuing time and focusing on the future. To everyone’s astonishment, Karan then hands Rajveer the keys to the Luthra Industries safe, entrusting him with the responsibility of managing the family’s wealth and guiding the company to new heights. While some members of the family are shocked by Karan’s decision, Rakhi, Mahesh, and Kritika are filled with joy, although Preeta looks slightly worried.
