Maati Se Bandhi Dor: 9th October 2024 Episode Recap – Ranvijay and Vaiju Unite for the Puja Ceremony
This episode begins with a scene where Ranvijay is seen deceiving Jaya and Vasundara over the phone. He asks Vasundara to take care of Jaya for the day, claiming he has personal matters to address. Sulekha readily agrees, assuring him that it won’t be a problem for just one day. However, Jaya, feeling deeply upset, expresses her desire to visit Kaveri Tai, shedding tears as she does so. Vasundara, concerned about Jaya’s distress, questions her need to leave and suggests that they could invite Kaveri to come to them instead. Yet, Jaya is adamant about going, insisting she needs to stay for a few days. With tears in her eyes, she walks away, leaving Ranvijay contemplating how he can begin anew with Jaya once he leaves.
Aaji, ever caring, offers Ranvijay some kheer, but he turns down her gesture. Vaiju, noticing Aaji’s disappointment, playfully nudges him to eat, saying it will please Aaji. Aaji then encourages Vaiju to feed him, leading to some light-hearted teasing between them before Vaiju steps away to prepare for the puja. Later, she confides in her friends, sharing how she hadn’t realized how significant Ranvijay had become to her, despite his occasional irritability since recovering. Overhearing their playful banter, Ranvijay listens in, a smile creeping onto his face as he watches Vaiju react to her friends’ teasing.
As Vaiju prepares for the puja, she climbs to grab something but loses her balance. In a swift moment, Ranvijay rushes to catch her, resulting in a comical tumble to the ground where they share an intimate gaze. The melodious strains of Behta Hai Mann play in the background, and their friends around them giggle, adding to the moment’s lightness. A bit flustered, Vaiju asks everyone to give them space. Ranvijay, still in a daze, questions, “Am I really that irritable?” Vaiju grins and reassures him, “Not at all!”
Meanwhile, Jaya is in her room, packing her bags and still reeling from her emotions. In stark contrast, Vaiju is radiant as she dresses up for the puja. When Ranvijay steps in and sees her, he is spellbound by her beauty, and the background music shifts to Teri Jhuki Nazar as he admires her. Vaiju, noticing his gaze, asks, “Aren’t you ready yet?” He sheepishly admits he has no appropriate attire for the event. Vaiju suggests borrowing something from Mili, leading Ranvijay to quip, “I’d look ridiculous in girl’s clothes!” She bursts into laughter and clarifies, “Mili is actually Milind! I just call him that affectionately.” Ranvijay hesitates, wondering if Milind would mind, but Vaiju reassures him, “He won’t mind at all; we’ve been like this since childhood.” Ranvijay’s expression hints at a touch of jealousy as he listens to her fond memories of Milind.
Aaji calls them to join the puja. Meanwhile, Jaya, isolated in her room, gazes at a photo of Ranvijay, whispering through her tears, “I can never forgive you.” At the puja, Aaji expresses her worry about Ranvijay’s absence, and Milind suggests that perhaps he doesn’t wish to partake in the rituals. Just then, Ranvijay arrives, affirming, “I won’t break my promise to Vaiju.” Vaiju beams with happiness at his commitment, while Aaji blesses them, admiring their beautiful relationship.
As the pandit begins the rituals, he instructs Ranvijay and Vaiju to sit together. However, recalling Ranvijay’s earlier sentiments, Vaiju hesitates and insists she will perform the puja on her own. The pandit, taken aback, advises that the puja should be conducted together to honor its significance. With determination, Vaiju replies, “If a prayer is sincere, it cannot be disrespectful. Just having my husband here is enough for me.” She starts to tie the sacred thread, but Ranvijay interjects, stating, “I’ll stand by your side for every ritual.” Together, they tie the thread, exchanging a heartfelt smile that symbolizes their deep connection.
Precap:
In the upcoming episode, Ranvijay witnesses Vaiju and Milind sharing a light moment, triggering feelings of insecurity within him. He turns to Vaiju, saying, “I have to leave for my duties.” Surprised, she asks where he plans to go. He responds, “I must leave, but remember, you’re not alone; you have your friend with you. Why not marry Milind?” Vaiju is left speechless by his unexpected remark.
