Mangal Lakshmi 4th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Adit Decides to End His Marriage with Mangal

Scene 1

The episode starts with Adit confronting Soumya, his frustration palpable. He accuses her of manipulating him and ruining his life, but Soumya, trying to defend herself, pleads with him to believe her. Despite her efforts, Adit refuses to listen. “I’m not a fool, Soumya,” he says sharply. “You barged into my life, forced me into that marriage ceremony, and made me sign papers I didn’t want to. I thought this was all for love, but how can love land me in jail?”

Soumya tries to explain, but Adit interrupts her, his voice filled with anger. “I was humiliated, accused of something as horrible as domestic violence! My dignity means everything to me, and I never expected you to stoop so low.”

She desperately begs him to give her a chance to explain, but Adit remains firm. “I know you were behind all of it—the police, the meeting with Lakshmi in disguise. There’s even proof—your foot was captured in the photograph. You’ve destroyed everything I tried to hold together.”

Still hoping to win his trust, Soumya pleads with Adit to see the truth, but he stands by his decision. “My mother warned me about this relationship,” he says bitterly. “It’s built on nothing but lies, and it’s time I put an end to it.”

Tears welling up in her eyes, Soumya asks, “After everything we’ve been through, do you honestly believe I’d do this? Don’t you trust me?” In a moment of despair, she smashes a vase, grabs a shard of glass, and threatens to hurt herself. “If you don’t believe me, then what’s the point of living?”

Alarmed, Adit rushes to stop her. “What are you doing? Put it down!”

“I’ve spent my life waiting for you to fight for our love,” Soumya cries. “But instead, you blame me for everything. Why would I send you to jail? It’s all part of Lakshmi’s plan to frame me, and you’re falling for it!”

Adit, torn between emotions and doubt, hesitates. “But the photo… your foot was there.”

“Lakshmi could’ve altered it!” Soumya insists. “She’s trying to frame me, and now everyone—Mangal, Kusum, even you—has turned against me. Why would I betray you like this?”

Adit sighs heavily, feeling trapped. “I don’t know what to believe anymore. If I could, I’d leave Mangal right now.”

“Then do it,” Soumya urges him softly. “You deserve happiness. Let’s stop pretending.”

After a moment of reflection, Adit finally agrees. He embraces Soumya and says, “You’re right. I’m done hiding. I’ll divorce Mangal and be with you.”

Scene 2

Back at home, a framed wedding photo of Adit and Mangal falls from the wall and shatters on the floor. Kusum, seeing the broken glass, gasps, “This is a bad sign.”

Mangal tries to calm her, attributing the incident to the wind, but Kusum remains uneasy. “Some things can’t be easily repaired,” she says, her worry growing.

Meanwhile, Soumya confronts Lipika and threatens her. “This is your last chance,” Soumya warns coldly. “Follow through with what I asked, or I’ll reveal everything.”

Back at Mangal’s house, Kusum bends down to gather the shattered pieces of the photo frame, her heart heavy. Mangal tries to comfort her, saying, “It’s just a frame, Kusum. We can always replace it.”

Kusum, clutching the broken frame tightly, responds, “You don’t understand. New things can never replace old memories. I bought this for your first wedding anniversary, and now it feels like I’ve lost all those memories too.”

Just then, Adit walks in and sees the mess. “Why are you both so upset over an old picture frame?” he asks. “I’ll get a new one.”

Kusum, still emotional, replies, “Some things are irreplaceable, no matter how new they are.”

Scene 3

Elsewhere, Sanjana excitedly calls Gayatri to tell her about Karthik’s surprise birthday party for Lakshmi. Gayatri, suspicious, asks Omesh if he knew about it. Omesh sheepishly admits he wanted to spend time with her and didn’t want her to know about the surprise. However, Gayatri insists on returning home immediately.

Back at Adit’s house, he coldly tells Mangal, “This marriage is coming to an end. Soon, I’ll be free.” Mangal, shocked by his words, doesn’t know how to respond. Meanwhile, Lipika tries to slip away unnoticed. Shanti notices some papers falling from Lipika’s bag and questions her. Lipika nervously claims they’re just school papers, but Shanti isn’t convinced. “Are you hiding something?” she asks suspiciously.

Mangal, trying to hold herself together, quietly picks up the broken wedding frame. “Anything can be mended if we try hard enough,” she says softly. “It may look different, but it can still be whole.”

Kusum, hearing the deeper meaning behind Mangal’s words, nods in agreement. “You’ve always been good at fixing things, Mangal.”

As the family prepares to leave for Lakshmi’s birthday celebration, Adit remains distant. “Aren’t you coming?” Mangal asks gently. “Karthik invited everyone.”

“I have work tomorrow,” Adit responds, his mind elsewhere. “I’ll come home early.”

The episode ends.
