Mishri – 5th September 2024 Episode Recap: Mishri Confronts Raghav’s Family

In today’s episode of Mishri, the drama intensifies as Mishri defies the harsh treatment from Sulekha. Sulekha demands that Mishri drink water deliberately tainted with dirt, aiming to humiliate her. Unyielding, Mishri refuses and instead presents Ganga water, which she claims is purer and more fitting for cleansing.

She challenges Sulekha’s reasoning, arguing that cleanliness is defined by one’s character, not just physical appearance. Mishri points out that while Parvathi’s hands get dirty from cooking, no one considers her unclean. She also questions why holy rivers like the Yamuna, where people bathe to wash away their sins, are not seen as dirty.

Amid this confrontation, Chithra records the exchange on her phone and plays it back for Mishri. When Mishri asks why Chithra recorded the incident, Chithra reveals that Mishri’s apparent unwillingness to stay in the house is causing problems, and no one else wants her there either. Chithra threatens to show the footage to Mishri’s grandmother unless she drinks the dirty water. Desperate, Mishri pleads with Chithra, but the situation escalates until Raghav steps in and knocks the water away.

Sulekha tries to justify her actions as retribution for Raghav, but he rebukes her, saying that this isn’t the right way to handle matters. Raghav declares that, despite their marital troubles, he will not allow his family to mistreat Mishri. He emphasizes that Mishri is his wife, and it is his responsibility to address their issues, not theirs.

Watching the drama unfold, Vaani accuses Mishri of creating a scene and expresses her disapproval of Raghav. She threatens severe consequences if Mishri doesn’t step back and warns Raghav that she will file a complaint against him.

Later, Sulekha is shown at the temple, refusing to offer prasad to Mishri, stating she is not part of the family. She instructs Parvathi to prepare breakfast, while Supriya makes a gesture of goodwill by offering Mishri aarti and a gift before departing.

Mishri tries to express her gratitude to Raghav for intervening, but he dismisses her thanks, stating that his actions were driven by his own interests rather than concern for her. He warns her that this is only the beginning of their conflicts and advises her to stay out of his personal matters.

In a parallel subplot, Ranjith uses Raghav’s phone to contact the inspector about the ongoing investigation, discovering that the CCTV footage is unclear. Ranjith decides that Mishri must be eliminated to avoid any further complications. Meanwhile, Mishri tests out the perfume Supriya gave her, and Raghav mocks her attempt to cover her essence, suggesting that the real issue lies within her. As tensions rise, the police arrive to arrest Raghav, setting the stage for more dramatic twists to come.
