Parineeti 17th September 2024 Written Episode Summary: Unexpected Twists Unfold

Scene 1:

Neeti observes Pami’s troubled expression and asks her what’s wrong. Pami confides that as a mother with a son in jail, joy seems out of reach. Neeti agrees with Pami’s sentiment but maintains that her brother deserves his fate. Pami’s anguish deepens as she reflects on how her son almost destroyed an innocent girl’s life. Neeti admits that their options are now limited.

Meanwhile, Pari wakes up feeling chilled and wonders if Rajiv is experiencing the same discomfort. Her worries are confirmed when Rajiv sneezes. Pami remarks that if Pari were here, she would have made a soothing cup of tea, as her tea has always had a magical effect on ailments. Pari then calls Pami to share a cold remedy recipe her mother taught her. When Pami asks why she’s sharing this, Pari explains that she too has caught a cold from being out in the rain. Pami invites Pari to the Ganpati pooja the following day, which Pari happily accepts. Grateful for the remedy, Pami decides to prepare the tea for Sanju.

Scene 2:

The Ganpati pooja gets underway with Sanju and Vikram bringing in the idol, while Pari arrives with Dai Maa. Pami welcomes them warmly, noting that Pari’s tea has already improved Sanju’s condition. During the pooja, Pami places Pari next to Sanju. The pandit announces that the family’s married daughter-in-law should perform the arti. Neeti steps up, but Pari intervenes, asserting that Neeti is neither married nor a daughter-in-law. Pari insists that Pami should lead the ritual. Pami obliges, and Pari reassures her that this act will help restore her standing in the family. Babli and Gurpreet also participate in the ceremony.

As Pari and Sanju perform the arti together, Neeti’s frustration mounts. Vikram does the arti with Neeti, who vows to prevent Sanju from returning to Pari. When Pami inquires about the prasad, Neeti retorts sarcastically, implying that Pami, as the daughter-in-law, should be aware of it. Neeti attempts to issue commands to Babli, who ignores her. Gurinder and Salojna observe that Neeti is losing her influence over the household.

Sanju expresses his gratitude to Pari for coming and praises the tea recipe for helping him feel better. Pari is delighted that her mother’s remedy proved effective and is pleased to see Sanju recovering. Sanju appreciates that Pari continues to show concern for him despite their situation.
