Suman Indori 4th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Devika’s Shocking Move
The episode begins with Suman setting off in her tempo, while Teerth’s sister-in-law reads Suman’s message about her chaat business and informs Teerth. Teerth goes to find his mother, who is praying for the family’s well-being. Meanwhile, Bhumi’s teacher warns that she won’t be able to take her exams if she doesn’t pay her school fees. Despite this, Suman remains hopeful and declines the teacher’s offer to help.
Teerth’s mother prays for him to find a good wife, but Suman insists she wants to remain single and live like her aunt. Her mother, Malini, scolds her, saying she should want a complete family and not wish for such a fate.
Chandrakant Mittal, Teerth’s father, arrives and asks his wife, Gitanjali, to pray for Teerth to gain wisdom. After performing a tilak on Teerth, Chandrakant criticizes him for his excessive spending on politics and mentions he had his eyes tested. Teerth responds that he’s already had his eyes checked.
Suman and her brother have a playful argument about politics. He jokes that no one will marry her if she ends up with dark circles, and she tells him to leave politics. He insists he’ll continue until his last breath. Their mother steps in to stop the argument as neighbors knock on their door.
Chandrakant boasts about his successful snack business and the many branches he owns but complains about his son’s struggles in the Sarafa Bazaar. Teerth believes that winning votes in this easy constituency will lead to his election as an MLA. Chandrakant’s elder son arrives, finding peace in education and a simple life. Chandrakant scolds Poorvi for her attire and angrily throws a sandal at his drunk son. Despite this, he feels blessed to have a caring daughter-in-law, who asks Teerth to look after a girl whose photo she had sent him.
Local shop owners inform Suman about the inauguration of Mittal Namkeen and the CM’s visit. Chandrakant’s daughter-in-law tricks Gitanjali into taking credit for food she didn’t make. Chandrakant scolds Gitanjali, upsetting Teerth. Gitanjali serves Teerth poha, which he praises as magical, thinking it was made by his mother. Chandrakant corrects him, saying it was made by his sister-in-law. Teerth asks about the special ingredient, and she teases that she’ll reveal it once he’s married. Meanwhile, Suman prepares food to impress the CM.
Teerth tells Rishi that impressing the CM will secure his nomination, but they soon learn that the CM won’t be coming. Suman remains hopeful, insisting that the CM will arrive since all preparations are in place. Chandrakant, Gitanjali, and their daughter-in-law arrive at the event. Chandrakant declares that he will cut the ribbon himself if the CM doesn’t show up. Just then, the CM arrives at Suman’s Chaat Bhandar with the police and asks about Mittal Namkeen. Suman directs him to the shop but insists he try her chaat first. The CM agrees and tastes it, while Chandrakant pushes to start the inauguration on time.
Teerth learns the CM has gone to the wrong lane and rushes to bring him back. Shopkeepers, upset about unpaid bills, start leaving, but Suman persuades them to stay. Rishi spots Suman and wonders why she’s there. Teerth, mistaking Suman for a guest of the CM and recognizing her from photos on his phone, instructs the guards to let her in. As Suman climbs the barricade, she falls into Teerth, and flower petals rain down on them as they lock eyes. The song “Dhadak” plays in the background. Devika, watching the scene, assumes it’s all part of Teerth’s plan to impress Suman and believes this is just the beginning of his scheme.
