Yeh Hai Chahatein 31st August 2024 Written Episode: Pradyuman’s Sinister Plot

The episode begins with Pradyuman threatening Arjun, warning him to stay silent about what he discovered in the basement. Pradyuman further manipulates Arjun by threatening to reveal that Mohan’s death was caused by Karun, implying that Arjun could lose Karun just as he lost Kashvi. Reluctantly, Arjun agrees to keep quiet, begging Pradyuman not to say anything about Karun. Pradyuman, pleased with the control he now has over Arjun, feels triumphant.

As Arjun leaves, his mind is filled with worry, unsure of what to do next. He realizes that Kashvi isn’t safe with him, especially considering Pradyuman’s willingness to harm even those closest to him—after all, he even hurt his own wife. Desperate, Arjun considers who he can turn to for help. Meanwhile, Meera visits Kashvi at her office.

She shares that while she’s teaching Karun many things, she struggles to get him to sleep early. Kashvi smiles and acknowledges that it’s a challenge, but mentions that Karun usually falls asleep after hearing a lullaby. She sings the lullaby, and Meera’s baby kicks in response. Meera, delighted, tells Kashvi that the baby approves and is as mischievous as its father, a comment that brings a tinge of sadness to Kashvi.

Elsewhere, Pradyuman professes his love for Neelam and asks if she loves him too. Neelam opens her eyes and softly replies yes. Pradyuman reveals that Arjun believed he had killed her, and they share a warm embrace. Neelam recalls the day Pradyuman got her discharged from the hospital, remembering how everyone thought she was dead, but for her, it was a new beginning.

A flashback shows the doctor informing them that Neelam couldn’t conceive due to complications from malaria. Neelam cried, feeling as though God had taken her baby away, but her longing for a child remained strong. The flashback ends, and Pradyuman explains that when Kashvi came close to catching Devraj, he saw it as destiny because she was pregnant.

He decided that Kashvi was perfect for their plan, so he investigated her and booked the same hotel where she was staying. Neelam laughs, saying Kashvi has no idea that they’ve entered her life with the intent of taking her baby. Pradyuman outlines their plan: they will care for Kashvi for six months until the baby is born, then take the child for themselves, leaving Kashvi devastated. Neelam asks what they will do about Arjun, who has been spying on them. Pradyuman confidently assures her that he will take care of Arjun.

Desperate for help, Arjun approaches Mahima and asks for her assistance. Mahima hesitates, unsure if she should get involved, but Arjun insists that she must. Later, Raunaq Sir enjoys the biryani Kashvi made and jokes that he plans to eat it all. At that moment, Mahima arrives and tells Mahinder that the roof of her house collapsed, and she was injured. She explains that she can’t stay there anymore and exchanges a knowing glance with Arjun.

She recalls how Arjun confided in her about the dead body he discovered in Pradyuman’s basement and how Pradyuman is determined to keep him and Kashvi apart. Mahima had suggested that Arjun admit his feelings for Kashvi, but Arjun dismissed the idea, reminding her of how much he had helped her and insisting that it was now her turn to help him. He instructed Mahima to find a way into Pradyuman’s place, call him, and then they would bring the police to expose Pradyuman. Still uncertain, Mahima asked if Arjun was sure about what he saw. Arjun confirmed it.

In a calculated move, they hired workers to deliberately damage Mahinder Sir’s roof. Arjun told Mahima to slightly injure herself to make her story more believable before going to the office. The stage is set, and the tension continues to build as the drama unfolds…
