Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Episode Updated – September 9, 2024: Manish’s Anger Eases

The episode begins with Manish walking along a deserted street, his thoughts heavily weighed down by memories of Akshu. Struggling with his emotions, he starts to cry, murmuring to himself, “Abhira and Ruhi are sisters.” Just then, Abhira stumbles, but Ruhi manages to save the bowls she’s holding. With a hint of sarcasm, Ruhi comments, “So, you’re excited about the wedding, huh?” Abhira, with a bright smile, replies, “Yes, absolutely. Why the gloomy expression?”

Back at home, Manish is visibly upset. He collapses and tears up, lamenting his missed chance to talk to Abhira. “If only I had listened, I would have understood everything. Please forgive me,” he sobs. Swarna and Surekha arrive and are horrified to find him on the floor. They rush to his side, clearly worried about his condition.

Meanwhile, Abhira, feeling anxious, confides in Armaan, “I don’t feel well; I’m scared.” Although Armaan suggests they go to the hospital, Abhira insists on heading straight to Manish’s house. They hurry over to the Goenka residence, only to find a doctor already tending to Manish, who is in a critical state and could be on the brink of a heart attack.

Swarna, trying to keep her composure, prays silently for his safety. Abhira rushes to Manish, calling him “Parnanu,” her affectionate nickname, and is visibly shaken. Armaan watches on with deep concern.

Abhira kneels beside Manish, attempting to comfort him. Armaan suggests taking him to the hospital, but Abhira tries to lighten the mood with a bit of humor. She says to Manish, “You already look so dashing; do you really need more attention? We’re here now—shouldn’t that be enough?” Gradually, Manish opens his eyes, and Abhira reassures him.

Swarna is deeply moved, reflecting on Manish’s earlier distress. The doctor announces that the ambulance has arrived but notes that Manish seems to have stabilized. He inquires about the incident, and Abhira cheekily replies, “That’s our little secret.” The doctor decides to send the ambulance away, and Abhira sings softly to calm everyone.

Surekha expresses her gratitude to Abhira for her calming presence. Although Abhira offers to stay, Armaan insists on taking her home, promising to return if needed. Swarna advises Abhira not to share the news with Ruhi, as she might become overly anxious. Abhira agrees to keep the matter private.

Upon returning home, Armaan and Abhira are warmly greeted by Dadi, who praises their handling of the recent event and suggests they deserve a reward. Abhira finds a note detailing items needed for the upcoming rituals. Dadi explains, “I thought you’d appreciate this. It’s a list for tomorrow’s ceremonies, and I assumed Abhira would take care of it.” Dadi elaborates that the tradition involves exchanging gifts between the bride and groom’s families.

Kiara eagerly asks if gifts will be given, and Dadi responds that it depends on Abhira. Concerned, Armaan questions Dadi’s insistence, given Abhira’s current predicament. Dadi replies, “She mentioned her parents’ blessings are with her, so she should manage. Let me know if there’s a problem.”

Abhira thanks Dadi for her support and assures everyone that the rituals will go ahead as planned. The family applauds Dadi’s decision. Sanjay then interjects, “Gifts alone aren’t sufficient; the bride’s family needs to be present for the ritual.” Dadi suddenly recalls, “Oh yes, I forgot—Abhira doesn’t have her family here. How will this work?” Armaan steps in, saying, “I’m her family.”

However, Dadi counters, “You’re not her Maayka (bride’s family); she said she would handle it.” Armaan argues, “This isn’t fair,” but Abhira steps in, indicating that she will manage the situation herself.
